PROGRAM
Trading Systems
The global financial market is becoming increasingly complex due to heightened volatility and the emergence of new financial products. The introduction of derivative financial products has rendered the analysis of financial markets impossible without the assistance of engineering or IT technologies. In the trading industry, systematic trading techniques capable of real-time analysis and processing of complex data have become indispensable. While there is a growing demand for experts in trading systems, specialized advanced education programs are still notably lacking. In alignment with this goal, the trading systems major emphasizes practical, systematic, and professional education, as well as research, to nurture trading professionals equipped with the essential practical skills required in various industry sectors.
Within this major, students study various financial markets, including stocks and derivatives, and learn risk management techniques using information technologies such as computer programming, databases, statistical analysis, and artificial intelligence. Simultaneously, the major systematically imparts methods to minimize profit margin variance, a vital element in ensuring stability within financial transactions. This is another key objective of the program.
