Business IT
Management Information Systems (MIS) is a field that combines IT knowledge with a broad understanding of business in order to maximize the contribution of information technology to business management.
Our graduate school's Business IT major, as the largest and leading institution for training MIS professionals in the country, offers high-level education in business problem solving, the establishment of informatization strategies, and the design and construction of information systems. Alumni of this major actively lead the domestic MIS field in various sectors, including large corporations, public institutions, and academia.
Students majoring in this field will develop into researchers and experts who are capable of leading studies in Management Information Systems. This includes both a social science perspective, represented by Behavioral MIS, and an engineering perspective, represented by Technical MIS, under the guidance of our graduate school faculty who encompass the diverse spectrum of MIS.
